For this technique I heat embossed the edges using a technique by Gina K., you can see the video here.
I used CTMH silver embossing psowder on CTMH outdoor denim cardstock.  The stamp is by SU and the sentiment is CTMH.

Pinterest Party!

Here is one of the cards I made for the Pinterest party at Kitchen Keepsake.  I won by the way! Today I got my prize in the mail.  I just love receiving packages!  Thank you Suzanne!

Stampin Up Demo

This are the cards that we made at Marielena's Stampin Up Demo at Kim's house. As always she had great ideas and new techniques to share with us. We used the dots folder to emboss the blue cardstock in the background. Notice the tiny brad used for the knob.

The background splatter effect was created with a background stamp. Gorgeous!

We made the flower by punching different sizes of circles. The paper splits after distressing it, this gives it as suade effect. We formed the flower.

Stampin Up Show

I hosted a Stampin Up! Show this last Sunday. Maria Elena Reyes was the demostrator. We made 4 cards and had so much fun! My show was just in time to take advantage of the Salebration. Here are the cards that we made:

Here are the other cards we made with Maria Elena at Monica's party. The one with the little chick can be for Easter or for a baby shower. The party was lots of fun.

Saturday my friend Monica hosted a Stampin Up Party. It was lots of fun. Maria Elena was the consultant, she brought so many ideas!! We made 4 cards!!! This is one of them. We stamped it with Versamark. The middle half window was made with the Movers and shapers curly label die and culry label punch.
