Birthday Cards

Last week was my friend Nico's birthday and tomorrow is my friend Phyllis's birthday.  The cards will not get there on time but I guess better late than never.  I really enjoyed making the cards from  the Create a Critter Cartridge and Design Studio.  I used the sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps, " Hope your Birthday is Poodles of Fun!"

Altered Composition Notebooks

I used DCWV paper to alter the composition notebooks.  I didn't want to do much more to them, I love these papers. Later I might add titles to them, but I havnt decided.
I made a matching pen for this one and added a pen holder.  The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.  Popcorn the bear was colored with Bic Markers.
Here is the inside of the front cover.   The ribbon for the pen was sandwiched between the cardstock and the notebook cover.

Here are the other 2. The  black spine cover was embossed with a cuttlebug folder.

Purse

Marlene and I made purses using the new template from Inking Idaho Tres Chic Handbags  here is mine:
I used the tiny mosaic cuttlebug foder.  The stitching was made using my SU mat pack and a piercing tool and after piercing I used a Creative Memories metallic silver pen for the stitching.

Close to my Heart

Last Sunday I went to a CTMH party, I hosted it at Phyillis's house, it was so much fun. This is the card that I made.  It is done with 8 punched circles.

The back of the card shows my new stamp with my name it says Hand Made with Love by Lolis Flores.  I had ordered it the party before.

I made another flower just for practice.  I used a 11/4 circle punch for this one.

Back to School Gifts

I've been making some back to school gifts for my friends.  I decorated  a jar from the Dollar Store with Popcorn the Bear.  The altered items in this jar are a giant paper clip, a glue stick, a pen, a cellophane bag with small paper clips, a book mark, Kleenex, crayons and hand sanitazer.  The box of crayons was cut with an SVG using SCAL.   Popcorn the Bear was colored with BIC markers
