I have been making beaded pens for a couple of years now. I personalize them and give them as a reward to my outstanding students. I also make a box to go with the pen. I have made the boxes with acetate but it is time consuming and hard to glue. I've also used cardstock, but the pen can't be seen. So I combined the two and made a with a window using acetate to cover the opening. I used a CM square punch to cut it. I liked the result. The last week I made 28 personalized pens and boxes! It was lots of work but my wonderful students deserved them! it was so rewarding to hand them out as gifts!
What an adorable and unique craft! I bet your students loved them and will remember the lovely gift for years to come!

What a fantastic gift! Sounds like your students are very lucky to have such a caring and creative teacher. Do you have a picture of some of your pens posted besides just today's post? I would love to see them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. I will be sure to show my set up from the craft show. I hope I don't forget, of all things, my camera that day! LOL
