Tissue Box Cover
After seeing Beth's Tissue Box at Beth-A-Palooza I decided to make one for me. The tutorial on how to make this box is at Splitcoaststampers. You can find it here. To make the layers I inked the Cuttlebug folders with a brayer, I used CTMH ink in Bamboo on white cardstock. For the side of the lid I used the organic flourish for the top the Swirls and the side the Victoria folder. I love the "bisque" look of this technique. I only had white pearls, so I colored the pearls with my BIC markers to match, I used Tiki Hut Tan (cute name).

More Popcorn the Bear A Christmas Wish
I used Prismacolors and Mineral Spirits to color the above image. The rest I used Bic Markers and Adirondack.
Gingerbread Card
This is an accordion card. I used the Gingerbread cartridge and Winter Frolic for the phrase.
I made this card for the challenge at BBTB2. The challenge is to make a project using the gingerbread man from the Just Because Cards cartridge, or any other gingerbread man from any other cartridge. since I hadn't used the Gingerbread cartridge that's the one I chose.

Christmas Cards
I made this cards for some of my coworkers and friends at school. I used the Create a Critter Cartridge. I tried to keep it very simple. There is no stamping or inking. I just used a white pen to add highlights and a rhinestone in the middle of the O. They are A2 cards.

Halloween Bouquet
Well it was a great weekend, eventhough it went by so fast. I got to craft a little. Today I made a Halloween Bouquet, here it is:
The base is a can that I decoupaged using halloween paper. The trick or treat words is a freebie file from SVGCuts . Everything else is from Cricut Paper Dolls Dress Up. I inked, chalked and added Stikles to most of the pieces. I drew the eyes and faces. All the elements are glued to wooden sticks and attached to styrofoam. The styrofoam and the back is covered with green spider web. There is also spiderweb over the characters. I had so much fun making this project!

Close to my Heart
We had our monthly CTMH meeting at Phyllis's House. Here are the projects that we made.
For this card we stamped on glossy paper, and did a technique of crayon resist. We added some colored sparkles to the nose of the pumpkins.
This is a treat holder
Detail on the treat holder. I put Stikles on some of the details. The lid closes with Velcro.

SEPTEMBER'S BIRTHDAYS
The Birthday Boys |
Friday was Jorge's birthday he wanted a cake decorated with the Monster energy drink symbol. Since Armando and Jerry also have their birthday on September my sister Elena decided to make a party to celebrate the 3 of them. We had a blast. Jorge shared his cake. Elena made other desserts, too. Pictured here are the chocolate covered strawberries and Cheese cake filled Chocolate Cupcakes.

Birthday Cards
Last week was my friend Nico's birthday and tomorrow is my friend Phyllis's birthday. The cards will not get there on time but I guess better late than never. I really enjoyed making the cards from the Create a Critter Cartridge and Design Studio. I used the sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps, " Hope your Birthday is Poodles of Fun!"
